The waves mv2 isn t specifically a vocal plugin but it s especially useful when mixing vocals.
It automatically adjusts the vocal volume fader in relation to the music and apparently works very nicely.
Once the vocal rider we just mentioned does its job the mv2 can step in and bring the vocals right up front.
This means you have full intuitive dynamic control.
Manually drawing each volume level change is an intense and tedious task and the vocal rider is an accurate sensitive and really easy to use plugin that is a consistent part of my toolbox.
The waves vocal rider plugin could be the posterchild of cheating plugins.
